Who we are
betneptune.co.uk is an independent UK information site about the BetNeptune brand. We are not the operator, and we do not run any gambling service. For the purposes of UK data protection law, the publisher of this site is the data controller for the data described on this page. You can reach us at webmaster@betneptune.co.uk.
What we collect
When you read the site
The pages are static files served through a content delivery network. Like any web server, that network records basic technical details of each request, such as the IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser type, in order to deliver the page, keep the service secure and defend against abuse. We do not add analytics software, advertising trackers, social media plugins or fingerprinting scripts of our own. We do not build profiles of readers, and we cannot identify you from a page view.
When you email us
If you write to webmaster@betneptune.co.uk, we hold your email address and the content of your message for as long as we need to reply and deal with your request, then delete it. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
When you click through to BetNeptune
Affiliate buttons on this site go to a tracked address on our own domain and then redirect to the operator's site. The redirect carries a code that tells the operator you came from betneptune.co.uk. We do not receive your name, contact details or any account information from the operator; we may receive anonymous, aggregated reporting about registrations and commission. From the moment you land on the operator's site its own privacy policy applies. Our affiliate disclosure explains the commercial side.
Cookies
At the time of this review, betneptune.co.uk does not set any cookies of its own and does not embed any third-party service that sets them. There is no analytics, no advertising and no personalisation. The content delivery network that serves the pages may set a strictly necessary cookie for security purposes; such cookies do not track you across sites and do not require consent under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
If we add a tool that sets cookies in the future, we will update this page before it goes live and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
The operator's site sets its own cookies, including a cookie consent banner with a "Manage Cookies" option, and the operator is responsible for those.
Who we share data with
Nobody, beyond the infrastructure needed to run the site (the content delivery network and our email provider), each of which processes data only to provide that service. We do not sell data. We would disclose data if the law required us to.
How long we keep it
- Server request logs are held by the delivery network for a short, rolling period for security and then discarded.
- Emails are kept until your request is resolved and then deleted, unless we need to keep a record of a complaint.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask us to confirm whether we hold personal data about you, to give you a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to port it. To exercise any of these rights, email webmaster@betneptune.co.uk. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site is about gambling and is for adults aged 18 and over. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if anything above changes, and the "last reviewed" date at the top will move. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
